The object of the Legion of Mary is to glorify God through the holiness of its members through prayer and active co-operation in Mary’s and the Church’s work. Members of the Legion of Mary become instruments of the Holy Spirit through a balanced program of prayer and service in a family atmosphere.

El objetivo de la Legión de María es la Gloria de Dios a través de la santidad de sus miembros desarrollada por la oración y una cooperación active en el trabajo de la Iglesia y de María. Sus miembros se vuelven instrumentos del Espíritu Santo mediante un programa de oración y servicio en un ambiente familiar.
