Adoration
O Come Let Us Adore Him!!!
This phrase, which summarizes the essence of the Eucharistic mystery, invites us to meditate on our supreme responsibility to god, which is adoration.
Jesus Christ chose the simple elements of bread and wine as the means through which he’d establish his ever-abiding presence in the world.
The church, beginning from the last supper until this age, continues to draw life and purpose from the Holy Eucharist. Being the most central mystery of our faith, it should define every aspect of our lives and our parish community.
It is, for this reason, that here at st. Patrick’s, we shall be extending the hours of eucharistic adoration to give more people the opportunity to come and spend time with Christ.
Whether you are on your way to or from work, to the grocery store or running errands, consider paying Jesus a quick visit. The time given to God is never time lost but always time well spent.
We have adoration Monday – Friday after 9AM Mass until 7PM.
As our lord begged his disciples in the garden of Gethsemane, he reechoes the same invitation to all of us: can you not spend an hour with me? (Mt. 26:40) you can always come when you can and leave when you must!!!
Venid, adoremos!
Esta frase, que resume la esencia del misterio de la eucaristía, nos invita a meditar sobrenuestra responsabilidad suprema de dios, que es la adoración.
Jesucristo escogió a los elementos simples de pan y vino como el medio a través del cual se había establecer su respetuoso presencia en el mundo.
La iglesia, a partir de la última cena, hasta este día, sigue atrayendo a la vida y el propósito de la sagrada eucaristía.
Siendo el misterio más central de nuestra fe, debe definir cada aspecto de nuestras vidas y nuestra comunidad parroquial.
Es por esto, que aquí en san patricio, vamos a extender el horario de adoración eucarística para darles la oportunidad a más personas de venir y pasar tiempo con cristo.
Ya que nos encontramos en nuestro camino hacia o desde el trabajo, al supermercado o hacer mandados, considerar hacerle una visita rápida a jesús.
El tiempo dedicado a dios nunca es tiempo perdido, pero siempre es tiempo bien invertido.
A partir del lunes, 11 de j unio tendremos la adoración de lunes – viernes de 9am – 10pm con pausas para las misas.
Como nuestro señor pidió a sus discípulos en el huerto de getsemaní, que resuena la misma invitación a todos nosotros: ¿no puedes pasar una hora conmigo? (mateo 26:40) ¡siempe puede venir a estar con cristo y se puede ir cuando quierea!
